2018 Live Music
Zuhg – ZuhG. ZuhG? Whats a ZuhG? ZuhG means to be unlike others…ZuhG is a band…Ask any member of the band ZuhG this question, you will get a different response every time. Musically ZuhG resists being easily defined: Mixing funk, reggae, jazz, jam, and rock n’ roll together to create its own expressive genre of music. ZuhG’s sound will push your perceptions of music to new heights. Based out of Sacramento California since 2007, ZuhG has been busy carving out its own unique territory up and down the west coast and on the road touring nationally. Even finding a second home on the Oregon Coast, where the lead singer has lived the past 4 years.
Ty Curtis – ’70s-style rock blended with a hint of southern twang, Ty Curtis has a Blues mojo that is alive and kicking, a natural musical treat for all that stand before his stage. His explosion of emotion-power-packed performances captures the undivided attention of audiences with tantalizing guitar fret work and highly intellectual lyrics. Add to the mix his exceptional vocals, and in Ty Curtis, you’ve found a classy performer that has ignited an exciting Blues career and a major Blues star in the making.“Ty Curtis is a triple threat, since he is the band’s lead singer, as well as the primary composer of their material, and thirdly he’s a sonically incendiary, string-shredding electric guitar player” (Blues Rock Review). Ty has been winning awards for his vocals and musicianship for the last 10 years.
